Land Of Song Festival
Information
The Land of Song Festival / Gŵyl Gwlad y Gân is set to transform Principality Stadium into a powerful celebration of music, culture and community from 6–9 May 2027.
Bringing together thousands of voices from across Wales, the UK and around the world, this landmark event will showcase the nation’s rich choral heritage on an unprecedented scale.
Across four days, the iconic stadium will be filled with the sound of massed choirs, as singers of all ages come together for one of the largest shared singing experiences ever staged. From traditional Welsh favourites to contemporary hits, folk, pop and music from film and stage, the festival promises an uplifting and unforgettable atmosphere.
A major highlight of the festival will be Young Voices Cymru, welcoming up to 15,000 children aged 7–14 for a vibrant, large-scale performance designed to inspire the next generation of singers. Alongside this, the return of Côr World Choir will see up to 20,000 adult performers unite in a spectacular massed choir, marking the first time the event has taken place in over 30 years.
With thousands of singers already signed up, the festival is set to be a truly special moment for Cardiff and for choral music worldwide, creating unforgettable memories inside one of the world’s most iconic stadiums.
Choirs of all sizes are invited to take part and be part of this historic event.
