Before any person purchases a Ticket (“Purchaser”) or participates in a Stadium Tour (“Attendee”), they must have read the Stadium Tour T&Cs carefully. The Stadium Tour T&Cs are also subject to the Principality Stadium Ground Rules (“Stadium Ground Rules”), which can be viewed here https://www.principalitystadium.wales/information/ground-rules/.

  1. Stadium Tour

1.1. Millennium Stadium plc (“MS”) operates the Stadium Tour.

1.2. All purchases and use of Tickets are made subject to these Stadium Tour T&Cs. By purchasing Tickets and/or participating in a Stadium Tour, all Purchasers and Attendees acknowledge that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Stadium Tour T&Cs and the Stadium Ground Rules. MS shall be entitled to refuse admission to or eject an Attendee from a Stadium Tour in the event of a breach of the Stadium Tour T&Cs and/or Stadium Ground Rules.

1.3. All Tickets are sold subject to availability and MS makes no guarantee regarding the availability of Stadium Tour time slots prior to booking confirmation being issued by MS.

1.4. Purchasers and/or Attendees should arrive at Principality Stadium at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to the start of their Stadium Tour start time and report to The Welsh Rugby Union Limited shop, Westgate Street, Cardiff CF10 1NS which is located between Gate 3 and Gate 4 at Principality Stadium (“Meeting Area”).

1.5. Should a Purchaser and/or Attendee fail to arrive at the Meeting Area prior to the start of their Stadium Tour start time in accordance with Clause 1.4, MS reserves the right to (i) refuse the Purchaser/Attendee entry to the Stadium Tour; (ii) change the contents of the Stadium Tour (including but not limited to altering the length of time allocated for the completion of the Stadium Tour and/or closing parts of the Stadium Tour) and/or (iii) cancel the Stadium Tour without notice and without any liability whatsoever by way of compensation, refund, readmission or otherwise.

1.6. An Attendee must comply with any and all instructions and/or directions from MS and/or any of MS’ employees, agents or servants whilst at Principality Stadium.

1.7. The Stadium Tour is conducted in English. However, if a Purchaser/Attendee requires a Stadium Tour in either French or Welsh, they must advise MS of their preference when purchasing a Ticket. MS will take reasonable steps to arrange a guide who speaks French or Welsh language to lead a Stadium Tour, although this is not guaranteed. Purchasers/Attendees are permitted to bring a linguistic interpreter to a Stadium Tour, subject to the Purchaser/Attendee and their accompanying interpreter both being in possession of a valid Ticket for the Stadium Tour that they are attending.

1.8. The duration of a Stadium Tour is approximately 70 – 75 minutes, although the duration of any Stadium Tour is subject to and dependant upon the size and dynamic of any Stadium Tour group.

  1. Purchase and Payment

2.1. By applying to purchase one or a number of Tickets, you are making an offer to MS. A contract for the supply of a Ticket and any associated benefits shall be created when the required payment has been received (which, for the avoidance of doubt, means when cleared funds are received) by MS.

2.2. Purchasers may only purchase Tickets by using any of the following purchase methods:

2.2.1. via www.principalitystadium.wales/tours;
2.2.2. over the telephone by calling 02920 822432;
2.2.3. in person at the ticket office at Principality Stadium; or
2.2.4. through one of the WRU’s authorised agents or distributors.

2.3. Concessionary priced Tickets shall be offered at MS’s discretion and be subject to the following criteria:

2.3.1. Appropriate evidence of qualifying criteria i.e. educational status and/or purpose of the trip in relation to a school concession and/or proof of age; and
2.3.2. MS reserves the right to refuse to grant a discount for any reason whatsoever.

2.4. The maximum number of Tickets which can be purchased for a single Stadium Tour is thirty (30). Should a Purchaser require additional arrangements for groups above this size, please contact the Principality Stadium Customer Care Team either by telephone on 029 20822432, or by email at customercare@wru.wales to discuss your query further.

2.5. The price payable for each Ticket shall be as set out on the www.principalitystadium.wales or as otherwise notified by MS from time to time. Unless expressly stated otherwise, all prices are inclusive of VAT.

2.6. The sale of Tickets is subject to the Purchaser providing MS with full payment of the relevant price at the time of booking. Purchasers who provide MS with debit or credit card payment details authorise MS to use those details to fulfil payment of the price and other fees attributable to the relevant Ticket(s). Additionally, those Purchasers will need to provide their Address unless they have previously done so.

2.7. MS only accepts payments made by:

2.7.1. cash in pound sterling (for Tickets purchased at the ticket office only);
2.7.2. valid credit card;
2.7.3. valid Visa debit card;
2.7.4. valid MasterCard debit card;
2.7.5. BACs; or
2.7.6. Cheque (subject and conditional upon any funds paid by this method being cleared prior to the date of the Stadium Tour).

2.8. If the payment method or details are declined when MS attempts to retrieve payment for any Tickets or any other associated fees, and provided that there are still at least 72 hours prior to the start of the relevant Stadium Tour:

2.8.1. MS will use reasonable endeavours to contact the Purchaser (using the contact details provided by the Purchaser to MS in their application) to arrange payment;
2.8.2. the affected Tickets may be cancelled if MS is not successful in contacting the Purchaser having made reasonable attempts to do so and the Purchaser has not contacted MS; and
2.8.3. the Purchaser will be liable to MS for any bank, other administrative charges and/or expenses incurred by MS as a result of the Purchaser’s breach of this Clause 2.8.

2.9. The Purchaser will be entitled to apply to MS to exchange any Tickets purchased for an alternative Stadium Tour, subject to the following conditions:

2.9.1. Any application is made at least 72 hours prior to the start of the Stadium Tour initially booked by the Purchaser by email to customercare@wru.wales;
2.9.2. Any proposed exchange is subject to the availability of spaces on an alternative Stadium Tour; and
2.9.3. No exchange may be made for goods or services that are not a Stadium Tour of the same type as previously booked.

2.10. For any Stadium Tour excluding any ‘Santa Tour’, Children aged under 5 may enter the Stadium for free without a Ticket if accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. For the avoidance of doubt, for any Santa Tour held at the Stadium a child of any age and all adults will be required to have purchased a Ticket to attend any such Tour.

2.11. Children aged under 16 may not enter the Stadium unless accompanied by a paying adult aged 18 or over, and that child and their accompanying adult must both be in possession of a valid Ticket for the Stadium Tour they are attending.

2.12. Should there be 10 or more under-16 Purchasers, they must be accompanied by one adult per 10 or more under-16 Purchasers.

2.13. Proof of age may be requested by MS at any time if Ticket(s) are purchased at a discount.

  1. Discounted Tickets and Offers

3.1. From time to time MS will run discounts and offers. These offers can only be used during the time period stated on the vouchers and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or discount.

3.2. Any offer is available at MS’s discretion and may be altered or withdrawn at any time without notice.

  1. Tickets

4.1. Unless notified otherwise, MS will not issue physical Tickets to Purchasers.

4.2. If Tickets are purchased directly from MS through the channels identified in Clause 2.2, the Purchaser and/or any Attendees will need to give the name of the Purchaser in order to gain entry to the Stadium Tour and the Stadium.

4.3. Any of the WRU’s authorised agents or distributors may choose to issue physical Tickets to Purchasers for the Stadium Tour. Please refer to their terms and conditions for further details.

  1. Transfer of Tickets and Cessation of Rights

5.1. Each Ticket sold to the Purchaser may be transferred to an Attendee subject to the conditions set out below in Clause 5.2.

5.2. If a Purchaser purchases Ticket(s) on behalf of an Attendee or subsequently transfers Ticket(s) to that Attendee, the transfer of the Ticket(s) to that person will be subject to the following conditions:

5.2.1. such transfer must not be made in the course of business or for the purpose of facilitating any third party’s business;
5.2.2. such transfer must not occur as a result of being offered for sale, resold, duplicated, supplied, used as a prize, as part of a competition, or in any promotional or similar activity (save as permitted by the WRU) by the Purchaser and
5.2.3. the transfer must be free of charge or for a fee or benefit no greater in value than the face value of the Ticket.

5.3. The Attendee shall adhere to and be bound by these Stadium Tour T&Cs and the Stadium Ground Rules and it is the responsibility of the Purchaser to inform the Attendee of these requirements.

5.4. Subject to Clause 5.2 above, all rights with respect to Tickets are personal to the Purchaser/Attendee and shall cease upon the death of the Purchaser/Attendee.

5.5. Purchasers shall provide their name and address and those of any Attendee(s) if asked to do so by any official, steward or employee of MS and/or any police officer.

5.6. If there are grounds to suspect that a Ticket is in breach of this Clause 5, MS reserves the right to refuse admission to the Ticket holder and offer no refund.

  1. Exclusion of Liability

6.1. The Stadium is a working Stadium, and MS is unable to give any guarantees that any particular Stadium Tour will take place at a particular time or on a particular date. MS reserves the right to reschedule any Stadium Tour without notice and without any liability whatsoever. In the event of the postponement or abandonment of a Stadium Tour, Purchasers shall be entitled to a full refund or to attend any such re-arranged Stadium Tour if they were entitled to attend the original Stadium Tour. Where any Ticket(s) has been purchased via card payment, any refund shall only be refunded by MS onto the card used by the Purchaser for the original Ticket purchase. In order to obtain a refund, the Ticket must be presented at MS’s ticket office at the Stadium no later than 7 days after the announcement of postponement/abandonment. A refund will only be issued on production of satisfactory identification that the individual requesting the refund is the Purchaser.

6.2. MS is unable to guarantee that all advertised elements of the Stadium Tour will be available at a particular time or on a particular date. Due to the operational needs of Principality Stadium, MS may be required (on short or no notice) to (i) replace any parts of the Stadium Tour; (ii) change the contents of the Stadium Tour and/or (iii) close parts of the Stadium Tour without any liability whatsoever by way of compensation, refund, readmission or otherwise.

6.3. MS nor any of MS’s employees, servants, agents or consultants are responsible for any property lost or damaged on a Stadium Tour.

6.4. MS expressly excludes all liability resulting from:

6.4.1. any failure or delay by MS in carrying out any of its obligations under these Stadium Tour T&Cs which is caused by circumstances outside of MS’s reasonable control;
6.4.2. the alteration of the dates and times of Stadium Tours;
6.4.3. the abandonment, postponement or cancellation of Stadium Tours; and
6.4.4. the alteration, change or closure of the Stadium Tour or parts thereof.

6.5. MS shall have no liability whatsoever to any Purchaser/Attendee for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of enjoyment or travel/accommodation costs.

6.6. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these Stadium Tour T&Cs shall exclude or limit MS’s liability for:

6.6.1. death or personal injury caused by MS or MS’s employees’ negligence during the course of their employment; or
6.6.2. any other conduct for which liability may not be excluded or limited as a matter of English law.

  1. Entry into the Stadium

7.1. The Attendee shall only be permitted to access areas of the Stadium that form part of the Stadium Tour. Not all areas may be available on the Stadium Tour due to Stadium operations.

7.2. Entry into the Stadium is subject always to the Stadium Ground Rules and the Stadium Tour T&Cs. By purchasing (or using) a Ticket you:

7.2.1. certify that you have read, understood and accepted both the Stadium Ground Rules and the Stadium Tour T&Cs;
7.2.2. agree to be bound by and to comply with both the Stadium Ground Rules and the Stadium Tour T&Cs; and
7.2.3. agree to bring to the attention of others, as required above, the Stadium Ground Rules and/or the Stadium Tour T&Cs.

7.3. If an Attendee is aged under 16, his/her parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) shall, in addition to the Purchaser himself/herself, be responsible for the Attendee’s actions, conduct and compliance with the Stadium Tour T&Cs and the Stadium Ground Rules.

7.4. Any person attempting to enter or having entered the Stadium with a concessionary priced Ticket where that person is not entitled to use a concessionary priced Ticket will be ejected from, or refused entry to, the Stadium and may have the Ticket withdrawn at MS’s sole discretion, and no refund shall be given.

7.5. Purchasers and/or Attendees will be permitted to make photographs of the Stadium Tour, subject to the following limitations:

7.5.1. the Stadium Tour is not photographed in its entirety;
7.5.2. the use of recording equipment is at the sole discretion of MS and its representatives on the Stadium Tour; and
7.5.3. any photographs made are for private and personal use only.

No audio or visual recordings (filming) by Purchasers/Attendees are permitted on the Stadium Tour at any time.

7.6. Should any of the conditions in Clause 7.5 above be breached or MS suspects that they may be breached, MS reserves the right to eject Purchasers and/or Attendees from the Stadium Tour and the Stadium and have the Ticket withdrawn at MS’s sole discretion, and no refund shall be given in such a situation.

7.7. Alternatively, if any of the conditions in Clause 7.5 are breached by an Attendee, MS may request that the Attendee remedy that breach or risk being ejected from the Stadium Tour and the Stadium in accordance with Clause 7.6 above.

7.8. MS does not tolerate homophobic, sexual, sectarian, racial, discriminatory, offensive or illegal behaviour in any form (whether physical, verbal or other). Any Purchaser or Attendee who is found or is reported to be abusing any other individual taking part in the Stadium Tour, member of staff or any other individual in or around the Stadium will face arrest and prosecution by the police. MS reserves the right to impose a ban on the offending Purchaser/Attendee and promptly eject the Purchaser/Attendee with no refund being given.

7.9. MS reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to eject a Purchaser/Attendee from the Ground, and/or the Stadium Tour refuse a Purchaser/Attendee entry to the Stadium and/or the Stadium Tour if:

7.9.1. the Purchaser/Attendee breaches any of the Stadium Tour T&Cs or Stadium Ground Rules (or MS has reasonable grounds to suspect such breach); or
7.9.2. the Purchaser/Attendee is prohibited (by law or otherwise) from attending the Stadium or any other sporting venue anywhere in the world; or the Purchaser/Attendee fails to comply with the instructions of any Stadium Tour official or other member of staff; or
7.9.3. the Purchaser/Attendee engages in any abusive, dangerous or other unacceptable behaviour (including but not limited to wearing inappropriate clothing; the behaviour listed in conditions 7.8 and 7.10; the prohibited behaviour listed in the Stadium Ground Rules as well as any other behaviour which may become a nuisance to MS and/or any other individual taking part in the Stadium Tour) in or around the Stadium or any other sporting venue anywhere in the world.

7.10. Without prejudice to the general nature of condition 7.9, the following actions shall constitute a serious breach of the Stadium Tour T&Cs and the Stadium Ground Rules:

7.10.1. entering the playing surface;
7.10.2. smoking in designated non-smoking areas (including the smoking of electronic cigarettes which is banned in the Ground);
7.10.3. being (or appearing to be) intoxicated;
7.10.4. the sale or transfer (save as permitted) of a Ticket to any person;
7.10.5. the deliberate misuse of a Ticket;
7.10.6. any misrepresentation in relation to Clause 2.3 above;
7.10.7. the throwing of any object within the Stadium that may cause injury or damage to people or property without lawful authority or excuse;
7.10.8. the use of foul, obscene, abusive and/or racist language and/or gestures;
7.10.9. the chanting of anything of an indecent or racist nature;
7.10.10. fighting, or engaging in and/or inciting violence;
7.10.11. bringing any of the following into the Stadium (or using them within the Ground): illegal drugs; other illegal substances; fireworks; firecrackers; smoke canisters; air horns; flares; laser devices; bottles; glass vessels or any item that might be used as a weapon or compromise public safety;
7.10.12. the supply of any misleading or incorrect information in any application; and
7.10.13. any breach of Clause 5.2 above.

7.11. MS will not be obliged to make any refund to any Purchaser or Attendee in respect of any ejection from or refusal of entry to the Stadium or in respect of any Ticket which is withdrawn in accordance with Clauses 7.9 and 7.10.

7.12. In the event that any Tickets are withdrawn or cancelled, MS reserves the right to exclude the relevant Purchaser/Attendee from applying to purchase/use any future Tickets.

7.13. Purchasers/Attendees shall not offer or distribute (either free or for sale by any person) within the Stadium any consumer article or commercial product of any nature.

7.14. Purchasers/Attendees shall not bring into the Stadium any food or drink items and only food and drink items purchased in the Stadium from vendors authorised by MS may be consumed in the Ground.

7.15. MS may conduct security searches to the belongings and/or outer clothing of any Purchaser/Attendee prior to or upon entry, exit or at any time during a Stadium Tour to ensure the safety of patrons and the Stadium. MS will refuse admission to, or eject from, the Stadium any person who refuses to be searched.

7.16. Purchasers/Attendees cannot bring suitcases, large ruck sacks, excessive shopping bags or other similar items on a Stadium Tour. No luggage storage space is available at the Stadium. If a Purchaser/Attendee arrives at the Stadium with unsuitable luggage, they will be refused entry to the Stadium and MS will not be obliged to make any refund to any Purchaser or Attendee in this circumstance.

  1. Change of Details

8.1. Purchasers / Attendees should promptly notify MS of any change of details given to MS (including, without limitation, changes to payment details and/or addresses) by visiting MS’s ticket office in person or via email at customercare@wru.wales.

8.2. Any change of Address must be notified to MS in writing and Purchasers/Attendees may be required to provide MS with proof of identity and address to MS’s satisfaction when details are changed under this Clause 8.2.

  1. Disabled Access

9.1. The Stadium Tour involves the use of stairs, lifts and escalators. MS is able to cater for Disabled Attendees and wheelchair users. Purchasers must notify MS of any special needs and or requirements of any Attendees at the time of booking.

9.2. Disabled Attendees will be charged standard prices for Tickets but shall be entitled to one (1) additional Ticket (subject to availability) at no additional cost should they require that another person accompany them on the Tour (such as a carer), provided that the Purchaser notifies MS at the time of purchase.

  1. Data Protection

10.1. Each Purchaser and Attendee acknowledges and agrees that the personal data provided by the Purchaser to MS in the purchase of Tickets shall be collected, stored and used by MS in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the WRU Group’s Privacy Policy (a copy of which can be found here: www.wru.co.uk/privacy).

10.2. All persons who enter the Stadium acknowledge that photographic images and/or video recordings (and/or still taken from video recordings) may be taken of them and may also be used for promotional or marketing purposes by MS, the WRU or other third parties and entry to the Stadium constitutes consent to such use.

  1. Entire Agreement

These Stadium Tour T&Cs comprise the entire agreement between MS and the Purchaser/Attendee in relation to the purchase of Tickets and all ancillary benefits.

  1. Severability and Amendments

12.1. MS reserves the right to make amendments to these Stadium Tour T&Cs from time to time, provided that the amendments shall not result in any Purchaser receiving any less than the same or substantially similar benefits to those that the Purchaser was entitled to receive prior to such amendments. Up to date versions of the Stadium Tour T&Cs will be made available as soon as practicable on the www.principalitystadium.wales, and hard copies will be available from MS upon request.

12.2. In the event that any condition(s) of these Stadium Tour T&Cs is/are declared void, ineffective or unenforceable by any competent court, the remainder of the Stadium Tour T&Cs shall remain in effect as if such void, ineffective or unenforceable condition(s) had not been included.

12.3. MS reserves the right to alter the “Ticket Point” scheme (including, without limitation, the number of “Ticket Points” awarded for purchases) from time to time in its absolute discretion.

  1. Waiver

MS’s failure to exercise, or delay in exercising, any right, power or remedy provided by these Stadium Tour T&Cs or by law shall not constitute a waiver of that right, power or remedy.

  1. Right of Third Parties

Notwithstanding any other provision in these Stadium Tour T&Cs, no other person other than you or MS has any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to rely on or enforce any term of these Stadium Tour T&Cs. Nothing in these Stadium Tour T&Cs shall affect any right or remedy of a third party that exists or is available other than as a result of the aforementioned Act.

  1. Complaints

15.1. Any complaint in relation to any Tour must be made promptly to the Principality Stadium Customer Care Team by telephone on 029 20822432, or by email at customercare@wru.wales, or to the Tour Manager by telephone on 029 20822308.

15.2. Any specific complaints in relation to the ability of a Purchaser/Attendee to participate in a Tour must be made promptly either prior to or during a Tour to the Principality Stadium Customer Care Team or the Tour Manager. No such complaints will be accepted by MS if they are made after this time.

  1. Governing Law

These Stadium Tour T&Cs and any dispute arising thereof (contractual or non-contractual) shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
