James Hook and Josh Navidi take on SCALE for BBC One’s Sin Bin

BBC One’s Sin Bin took an exclusive look at Principality Stadium’s latest aerial adventure airing on BBC One tonight and challenged two ex-international, Welsh rugby legends with a dare devil experience they couldn’t turn down.
James Hook and Josh Navidi became the first official guests to experience the SCALE DROP, the 35m abseil from the roof of Principality Stadium as part of a surprise experience when filming a segment for the show last Wednesday.
Wales ex-international Josh Navidi said of the experience, “When I was asked to go up on the roof for Sin Bin I really didn’t know what to expect, you don’t realise how high it is until you actually get up there but when you get to the top it’s incredible.”
“Having the chance to be the first to do the SCALE arch climb and abseil with Hooky (James Hook) was an amazing experience. It’s one I’ll add to my list of standout memories in the stadium that’s for sure!”
Set to open in late Spring, it’s fair to say excitement around SCALE has been ramping up with The Guardian listing the attraction as one of the top 10 must undertake UK activities for 2024. Praising how thrill-seekers will be able to climb to the top of Welsh rugby for a ‘bird’s eye view of the pitch and Cardiff’s skyline’.
