The countdown to Cardiff 2015 is on as tickets for next year’s British FIM Speedway Grand Prix at the Millennium Stadium on July 4 are now on general sale.

A huge crowd packed into the venue on Saturday as Tai Woffinden finished second to storm to the top of the standings and shake the Welsh capital to its foundations, while American icon Greg Hancock was a popular winner.

But Woffinden will be keen to go one better next season, and fans who secure their tickets before August 31 can save up to 20 percent and join world speedway’s biggest party.

BSI Speedway managing director Paul Bellamy said: “The British SGP has always been our biggest event of the year, but there’s no doubt Tai Woffinden’s World Championship success has raised interest in the meeting even more.

“The reception he received from the fans on Saturday night was phenomenal and the atmosphere was incredible all evening.

“We know fans love to plan early for the biggest weekend on the speedway calendar and with savings of up to 20 percent available until the end of August, there is plenty of reason to do so.”
