October 8th – mark your calendars because you have Got to Be There to witness the musical event of our lifetime, a Thriller of a tribute concert to the King of Pop – Michael Jackson.

Some of the world’s leading artists will be performing in this historical tribute to be staged at the Millennium Stadium. The show, produced by Global Live Events LLP, has the support of the Jacksons including Mrs. Katherine Jackson, La Toya, Tito, Marlon and Jackie.

October marks the 40th anniversary of the start of Michael’s solo career and will be celebrated with a tribute fit for a King. The concert will be broadcast around the world to 30 countries in both 2D and 3D.

“This extra special concert, paying tribute to one of the world’s greatest pop icons of all time, is fantastic news for music fans all over the world and it is a huge boost for Wales to host this spectacular one-off show.

“The stadium’s city-centre location, fully retractable roof and removable pitch continue to put Wales on the map as one of the leading live music venues and I’m proud that once again the eyes of the world will be on Wales for the unique show which will be broadcast live across the globe.”

The event is being produced by Global Live Events LLP, aworld-renowned event-based TV and DVD specialist with offices in London, New York and Los Angeles.
