Today is the last chance for sports fans all over the world to apply for tickets to watch Olympic football at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium between July 25th and August 10th, 2012.

The iconic sporting venue in Wales’ capital city will host eleven games during London 2012 Olympic Games across Women’s and Men’s football tournaments, including the prestigious Bronze Medal match on 10th August.

Applications for Olympic tickets to the Millennium Stadium, and all other venues, close tonight at the London 2012 official website: and fans have until 11.59pm to apply for the greatest show on earth.

While the ticketing procedures launched last month, fans are reminded that it is not a first come, first served system and they can still be in with a chance to get hold of tickets starting from £20 with special prices available for young people and seniors.

There are also many ways to make savings on tickets for families. The innovative ‘Pay Your Age’ initiative means that if children are under the ages of 16 on July 27th, 2012, they can literally ‘pay their age’ to attend.

These special prices are available at a third of all sessions and in every single sport. People over the age of 60 only pay £16 at the same events making London 2012 a great day out for the whole family.
