John Toshack’s Wales squad to face Russia has been boosted by the return of captain Craig Bellamy, midfielder Jason Koumas and the defensive pairing of James Collins and Danny Gabbidon for the FIFA World Cup home qualifier at the Millennium Stadium on Wednesday 9 September (ko 7.45pm).

The squad (announced today) is as follows: Wayne Hennessey, Boaz Myhill, Lewis Price, James Collins, Neal Eardley, Danny Gabbidon, Chris Gunter, Craig Morgan, Lewin Nyatanga, Sam Ricketts, Ashley Williams, Jack Collison, David Cotterill, David Edwards, Jason Koumas, Joe Ledley, Aaron Ramsey, Brian Stock, Craig Bellamy, Simon Church, Ched Evans, Robert Earnshaw, Sam Vokes.

The Millennium Stadium has staged all of Wales’ World Cup and European Championship qualifiers since 2000 and last met Russia here in November 2003 losing out by one goal to nil in front of 73,062 fans.

Fans wanting to support their national team can still purchase tickets priced from £5 for children and £15 for adults from Ticketline on Westgate Street until 4pm on matchday and from Gates 2/3 & 6/7 at the Millennium Stadium on a cash only basis after that time.
