As the Stadium’s Sizzling Summer comes to an end, the announcement looks ahead to a potential summer scorcher next year and to incentivise regular customers who book the same seats every year, tickets bought before 31 December 2006 will be held at 2006 prices.

Paul Sergeant, chief executive, Millennium Stadium commented:
“The FIM Speedway Grand Prix is one of the events in our busy calendar that we are most proud of, not just because it is one of our most prestigious and exciting shows but because it shows off the full range of versatility that the Millennium Stadium and its staff has to offer.
“It looks set to be a fantastic show and I would encourage people to take advantage of this great deal and buy early!”

John Postlethwaite, Chief Executive, BSI, who announced the date live on Sky Sports said: “For fans who book their favourite seats and support the event year on year we are holding ticket prices at 2006 levels until 31 December 2006. By keeping the adult entry price to below £30 it also enables us to continue to attract new fans to the biggest speedway event in the world.

“The 2007 FIM British Grand Prix will be our seventh consecutive year at the Millennium Stadium and each time the event gets bigger and better. We had over 40,000 attending this year’s British Grand Prix and it is now the largest stadium motorsport event in Europe.

“As the crowds increase we have to continue to build a bigger and better show each year and offer value for money entertainment. I’m sure that the 2007 FIM British Grand Prix will be the best yet.”
