Paul McCartney is looking forward to rocking the Millennium Stadium on Saturday 26 June – he told fans during his live webchat yesterday afternoon.

Speaking about his ‘Up and Coming’ tour which brings Paul back to Wales’ capital city for the first time in 31 years, he said: “We are coming to Cardiff, to the beautiful Millennium Stadium there, and really looking forward to it.

“I haven’t been to Wales in a long time, to play that is,” added the former Beatle.

“We often say that Liverpool is the corner of Wales because it’s so close and me and George used to go to Harlech, a beautiful town in Wales which has a beautiful coastline. We love Wales and we love the Welsh people.”
