A vibrant new addition to Cardiff’s food and drink scene has launched this week along the River Taff.

Riverside Social, located on the iconic Principality Stadium walk, will officially open its doors to the public today Thursday, 17th September, following an exclusive VIP launch party on Wednesday, 16th September.

Designed to bring fresh energy to the stadium precinct, Riverside Social operates as a boutique coffee shop by day before transitioning into a bustling bar in the evening. Positioned alongside the riverfront, the venue offers a scenic backdrop for morning coffee stops, remote work sessions, and post-work catch-ups.

Food options feature fresh, housemade focaccia prepared daily, paired with specialty coffees, craft drinks, and a curated bar menu.

To mark the launch and engage Cardiff’s active community, Riverside Social is introducing its ‘Discount for Distance’ campaign. Runners tracking their session on any running app can show their distance at the counter to receive an equivalent percentage discount on their bill, for instance, running 10km unlocks a 10% discount (terms and conditions apply)

Opening hours will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm, Saturday, 8am to 8pm, and Sunday- 8am to 5pm.
